I got one, it’s made of plastic and not magnesium alloy, but not necessary for me anyways, the rubber grip is kinda hard, no grip on those, feel for the buttons are different but that’s just being too picky. For that kinda price, its worth it.

Nathanpaw, I totally agree with your logic here. I’ve never been able to word it that well though haha

Sometimes in life you can’t afford the best. You deal with what you can afford and use the crap out of it until you can afford more. Taking pic’s isn’t all about what you don’t have but what you do have and how you use it. If me being cheap on this grip will help me save for a Nikon 14-24mm then heck yes I’m going to do it. Maybe you should go complain to Picasso about his 1 cent paintbrush.

Thanks a lot for the review! It was very hepful. I was so stoked to find this product, and see that it was cheap. I am personally really let down with the price of the MB D10 grip from Nikon, and was even more bummed to hear that if you want the 8fps, you need to buy a $150 battery plus the grip or just use AA’s. I’ll probably get one of these and just use AA batteries, cause hey, it’s cheaper and it works. Thanks again.
